"Far over the Misty Mountains Cold Through dungeons deep and caverns old The pines were roaring on the heights, The wind was moaning in the night, The fire was red, it flaming spread, The trees like torches blaze with light." As most of you know, the absolutely awesome "Hobbit" trailer has appeared and what can I say? it totally blew me away. When I read the book, five or so years ago, I couldn't really envision an epic movie being made after it. I found it to be a very good book, very enjoyable, but a bit childish. So, when on Tuesday, I saw the trailer, I was left in shock. It wasn't only amazing and extremely engaging, but it kept that wonderful feel of reality and maturity that "Lord of the Rings" had. Childish? Not in a million years. So, being such a LotR-Howard Shore-epic music-youtube-etc obsessed person, transcribing and performing the trailer song came rather naturally. It took a full hour to properly transcribe and another hour to record, but I am incredibly proud of the result. I hope you will like it as well! :) Working on multichannels has been a real chalenge, so your feedback will help me improve whatever skills I can develop!
